Debt Hollow

When the Salt Lake Accords were first inscribed, the scribes discovered that magical ink, when applied to parchment, created a void where intention met consequence. That primordial emptiness became the Debt Hollow - forever hungry, always growing, feeding on the spiritual debt accumulated by every player whose rating drops below safety thresholds.

The Debt Hollow appears as a perfectly circular void of absolute darkness, roughly the size of a disc golf basket, hovering at waist height. Its edges ripple and shift constantly like heat distortion over summer asphalt, and within its depths, faint spectral images of the player's worst rounds play on endless loop. Frost radiates outward from its base in patterns that spell out the player's current rating. It grows larger and more solid as a player's magical debt increases, emitting a low hum that players describe as 'the sound of rating dropping.'

The Debt Hollow serves as the living sinkhole of magical debt - it grows in proximity to players whose ratings decline, physically manifesting as a hungry void that pulls players toward curse manifestation. When a player's rating drops into danger zones, the Hollow becomes visible to others, warning them of the spiritual danger their rival faces.
