Blind Spot

The Blind Spot emerged from the Bureau's original surveillance architecture - when the monitoring systems were first deployed across the Containment Zone, certain areas were deliberately left unmonitored to reduce data overload. These gaps became known as Blind Spots, zones where competitive actions may or may not be recorded, creating persistent uncertainty about what evidence actually exists.

The Blind Spot exists as a zone of deliberate visual corruption on Bureau tracking maps - surveillance satellites pass overhead but their recordings come back blank, marked only with the notation 'SECTOR UNMONITORED' in faded red type. It creates evidence gaps in player records and generates uncertainty about what was actually captured, making every competitive action potentially unverifiable.

The Blind Spot determines which player actions get recorded and which disappear into surveillance gaps, making every competitive moment potentially unverified. When a player operates within a Blind Spot, their actions exist in a quantum state of evidence - neither confirmed nor denied, neither witnessed nor forgotten.
