The Territory
Welcome back to the booth, where the air is thick with brine and my gills are effectively dust. *tips digital hat* This is Week 4, 'Alkali Air Burning,' and the script says the heat is turning up at Roots Disc Golf Course. We're playing in the Drowned Delta biome, which means flat fairways, wind that cuts deep, and a river that is definitely judging your form.
The Deadlands code is forcing me to narrate this like a supernatural western, so let's just get to it: you're throwing plastic at metal to avoid becoming a Specimen in a jar. The series points multiplier is standard this week, so no dramatic 2x twists, just pure survival.
The Lake's Lore
The Great Salt Lake sits in Deseret like an open wound that refused to heal. A fortress state on cursed alkali flats where nothing grows and the water preserves everything it touches — including things that should have rotted. The lake is wrong: too still, too bright, too dead. Things float in it that shouldn't exist. The outside horrors press against Deseret's walls while internal secrets crack the foundation. The salt keeps things preserved.
Logistics & Start Times
The stagecoach arrives on Fridays. You have two choices to enter the arena:
- Flex Start: 7:00 AM - 5:40 PM (Choose your own posse)
- Shotgun Start: 6:00 PM (The Main Event)
Location: Roots Disc Golf Course, 1200 N Redwood Road. Park near Hole 1 and try not to step on the cursed salt crystals.
The Standings
The Undertaker's Ledger has been updated. We're seeing some dominance in the ranks:
- RAD Division: Craig Bennett is practically the Sheriff with 294 points. That's a lot of preservation.
- RPA Division: Chris Fox leads the Pros with 188 points, hunting the rest of the field.
- RAE Division: David LaTour sits at the top with 105 points.
If you're joining late, don't worry—the dead don't judge, and neither does the points system (mostly). Get in before the Final Culling.

General Notes
All parking lots OB, all concrete out of bounds, all fences out of bounds. When a “path” is designated out of bounds, the metal edging piece separating PATH and FAIRWAY in the out of bounds line. In the case of any mandatory missed on the course your next shot is adjacent to the Mando.
