Generator Ghoul

The Generator Ghoul originated as a mall maintenance worker inspecting backup generators during the initial outbreak. Trapped in the flooded basement, they were mutated by contaminated water and electrical surges into a ghoul that feeds on residual power, now haunting the generator rooms as an undead menace.

Generator Ghoul possesses a decaying body that glows with bio-luminescence from electrical absorption, allowing silent movement in darkness. It can short-circuit electronics and emit paralyzing shocks, is slow but relentless near power sources, and causes lights to flicker and machinery to malfunction. It is vulnerable to power deprivation but resilient in energized areas.

Generator Ghoul sabotages survival efforts by disrupting power restoration and corrupting electrical systems, forcing players into hazardous darkened zones and amplifying infection spread through compromised quarantine controls.
