Glyph Ghast

Origin Story

Born from Katarina Novak's most blasphemous experiment, the Glyph Ghast was created by binding a dying scholar's soul to fragments of the Sefer Yetzirah, resulting in a ravenous entity that seeks out and consumes sacred glyphs.

Properties

A semi-corporeal entity composed of swirling Hebrew characters and ectoplasmic residue that can phase through barriers but must materialize to feed. Its touch corrodes writing surfaces and it emits reversed whispered prayers constantly.

Role

Deployed to bypass magical protections on sacred texts, consuming protected knowledge regardless of spiritual consequences and leaving behind only corrupted fragments for the Arcane Seekers' research.
