Synchronous Serpent
Living Gearwork Serpent of Perfect Synchronization
Cannot Tolerate a Missed Putt
Aspects refreshed Dec 14, 2025
Created by Eliza Wintergear during her studies of the Great Clock's inner workings, the Synchronous Serpent emerged from her experiments in harmonizing magical energies with mechanical rhythms. The creature was born when she discovered that certain gear patterns in the Clock matched ancient serpentine ley lines running beneath TVille, leading her to forge a living connection between these two systems.
The Synchronous Serpent's movements perfectly match the Great Clock's timing, allowing it to detect and correct temporal disturbances. Its segmented body consists of interlocking gears that can adjust their rotation speed to maintain perfect synchronization with magical frequencies. The creature can extend or compress its length to bridge gaps between mechanical systems, serving as a living conductor of both magical and mechanical energy.
Acts as a diagnostic tool for the Engraved Gears, helping them identify and repair irregularities in TVille's magical-mechanical infrastructure. Its ability to synchronize with both the Great Clock and the city's magical currents makes it invaluable in their quest to restore balance.
