Scoring System

EAGLE HUNTER AWARD SCORING RUBRIC
This award recognizes players who consistently score eagles (2-under par on a hole) throughout the season. Qualification requires either multiple eagles or at least one eagle on a par 4.
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA - 2 or more eagles in the season OR - At least 1 eagle on a par 4 hole
1. Base Eagle Points (50 points each) • Each eagle scored adds 50 base points • Example 3 eagles = 150 points
All eagles count regardless of hole par
2. Multiple Eagle Round Bonus (25 points each) • Each round with 2+ eagles earns bonus • Example Two eagles in one round = 25 bonus points
Rewards exceptional single-round performance
3. Consecutive Event Streak (20 points per event) • Points for eagles in consecutive events • Example Eagles in 3 straight events = 60 points
Rewards consistent eagle-scoring ability
4. Par 4 Eagle Premium (15 points each) • Additional points for each par 4 eagle • Example 2 par 4 eagles = 30 bonus points
Rewards more difficult eagle achievements
5. Par 5 Eagle Bonus (10 points each) • Additional points for each par 5 eagle • Example 2 par 5 eagles = 20 bonus points
Rewards strategic long-hole play
TOTAL SCORE CALCULATION Final Score = Base Eagle Points + Multiple Round Bonus + Streak Points + Par 4 Bonus + Par 5 Bonus
Example Calculation - 3 total eagles (150 points) - 1 multiple eagle round (25 points) - 2 event streak (40 points) - 1 par 4 eagle (15 points) - 2 par 5 eagles (20 points) Total Score = 250 points
Higher scores indicate both quantity and quality of eagle achievements, with emphasis on more difficult par 4 eagles and consistency across events.
NOTE Par 3 eagles (hole-in-ones) count for base points but do not receive additional bonuses.
