Week 1 · Dawn Discovery
Welcome to the season finale of Vampire Beach, where I, Flippy, your snarky narrator, am forced to chronicle this absurd undead aristocracy taking over Roots Disc Golf Course. *Sigh* If you're wondering how I got stuck in this software, blame the grindhouse theme assimilation. But hey, at least the Art Nouveau styling is fancy, right?
This is week 10 of 10, folks—the "Eternal Night" event where we decide if vampires claim eternal dominion or if disc golf prevails. Hosted by ElevateUT Disc Golf, a non-profit actually trying to grow the sport (bless them), this league runs every Friday with flex starts from 7:00 AM to 6:20 PM at Roots DGC. Yes, all 10 weeks at one course—consistency is key, even in horror.
Entry is $5 weekly, with optional $5 for prize money, $5 ace pot, and $2 super ace. Last week, Houston Turner aced it big—$275 ace pot and $1,000 super ace! Talk about a fang-tastic payday. Maybe vampire luck is real?
Vampire aristocracy at a riverside park? Because nothing says horror like daywalkers sipping blood from crystal goblets between throws. This Art Nouveau nightmare means your bag tags turn you into elegant predators—think Crimson Tidewalker or Duchess Daybreak. I'm supposed to take this seriously, but come on, it's disc golf with fangs. *Adjusts clipboard* At least the tree shadows make for dramatic light contrasts.
All events at Roots Disc Golf Course—18 holes of par 54 fun along the Jordan River. It's flat, grassy, and supposedly serene, but now it's a vampire resort. Flex start means you can play anytime between 7 AM and 6:20 PM on Fridays. Perfect for avoiding the midday sun... or vampire ambushes.
Something for everyone, from pros to newbies. No handicaps here—just raw skill and maybe a bit of vampire enhancement if you're lucky.
It's the final week—Eternal Night! If you haven't joined yet, what are you waiting for? The vampires won't bite... much. Late to the party? Jump in anyway; the leaderboard is still up for grabs, and I need more material to mock. Supported by Another Round Salt Lake City—get your gear there, because even undead nobles need reliable plastic.
So, come on down, grip it and rip it, and maybe survive the narrative. Or don't—I'll still be here, trapped in this code, snarking away. *Fourth wall fully shattered*
The $2.50 platform fee is the only amount here set by ElevateUT Disc Golf. Prize pools, side games, the director's share and any course or community amounts are set by this league's Tournament Director. The PDGA fee is the PDGA's own per-player fee.
