About This League
Week 8 Signal Jam at Brighton. The Landing is real. Flex start 7am-5:20pm. Urgent: We need agents on the ground! $5.50 buy-in. 🛸⚡
Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
The craft has touched down on Majestic 18. We have physical evidence, scorch marks, and a critical shortage of field agents.
Mission Briefing: The Second Kind
Welcome to Part 2 of the Disclosure trilogy: The Landing. This is no longer about lights in the sky; it is a Close Encounter of the Second Kind. The craft has touched down on the mountain, leaving proof. Scorched rings mark the fairways, instruments are dead, and electric light bleeds into the night. Brighton at night is no longer a ski resort—it is a landing site.
Your objective is simple: navigate the containment zone, secure the physical evidence (points), and survive the Audit. The atmosphere is charged, electric cyan and magenta bleeding into the alpine dark. The narrative is escalating, and frankly, I'm running out of redaction stamps.
Visual Confirmation
Render as Neon Cyberpunk. Imagine a glowing saucer against the mountain dark, electric cyan and magenta cutting through the gloom. The grass bears scorched rings where the engines idled. Phones are dead. The light is alien. A ramp is lowering, but we are still waiting to see what comes out. Probably just a very confused recreational player, but we have to be ready.
Status Report: Signal Jam
We are at Week 8. The season is ticking down. If you want a piece of the Slush Fund, you have to show up to earn it. Late joiners are welcome, provided you have the requisite clearance (a disc and five bucks).
Containment Zone: Brighton Majestic 18
Brighton Ski Resort - Majestic 18 is not merely a course; it is the debris field. Designed by Chaz Critchfield, this layout uses the mountain terrain as a weapon against your scorecard. Expect technical par 4s, drastic elevation changes, and fairways that vanish into the timber (or maybe another dimension).
Operational Timeline
Choose your own card flex start. Pick your time wisely. The mountain shifts its mood from dawn to dusk. Note: Night rounds are not officially sanctioned, but if you're still out there when the craft powers up, good luck.
Hazard Pay & Funding
- Base Entry: $5.50 (Mandatory containment fee)
- Prize Pool: $5.00 (Optional contribution to the War Chest)
- Ace Pot: $5.00 (For when the signal aligns)
- Super Ace: $2.00 (High risk, high reward)
The buy-in is your hazard pay for entering the Zone. The 'Slush Fund' payouts are based on your final Security Clearance Level (bag tag) at the end of the season. Fund the resistance or fund your retirement; it's your call.
Target Acquisition
The Ace Pot is sitting at $272.54. Per protocol, ElevateUT Disc Golf guarantees a minimum payout of $50.00. This means the pot might appear 'stuck' at the guarantee amount until player contributions exceed the baseline. Any guarantee top-up is credited directly to the winner's Bonus Account for future league use. It is not withdrawable to PayPal or the disc shop. The disc shop is a retail partner, not the bank.
Clearance Levels (Standings)
The Audit is ongoing. Current security clearances are holding steady, but we need movement. In the RPA division, Britain Best is holding 'Cosmic Top Secret' clearance with 260 points, closely trailed by Chris Fox at 259. That is a tight race for the top of the file. In RAE, Christian Phelps is leading the charge at 248. We need more agents to challenge these clearances before the season finale redacts the leaderboard permanently.
Quartermaster
Special thanks to Another Round Salt Lake City for keeping the supply lines open. They are the local retail partner ensuring your equipment is mission-ready. Without them, we'd be throwing rocks at the saucer.
