Welcome to the Hillbilly Horror league, where Beacon Hill's serene mountains transform into a backwoods slasher set, and I, Flippy, am your snarky narrator trapped in this software. *Sigh* Why must I chronicle disc golfers battling imaginary chainsaw wielders? But hey, the graffiti-art bag tags are kinda cool, even if I'm assimilating against my will.
This isn't your average league—it's a Grindhouse horror production where your bag tag makes you a Mountain Tracker or Rustic Maniac. Players navigate spray-painted warnings and "abandoned camps" while I mock the absurdity from my digital prison. *Adjusts virtual clipboard* Seriously, who thought disc golf needed this much drama?
We're at Beacon Hill Park Disc Golf for 10 weeks of Wednesdays, with flex starts from 6:20 AM to 6:20 PM. Yes, you can choose your tee time to avoid the "hillbilly stalkers." This is week 10—Dawn Escape—the finale where survivors race against sunrise. Will you make it out? Probably, but let's pretend it's epic.
Entry is $5 weekly, with optional ace pot ($5) and super ace ($2) buy-ins. The current ace pot is $405.00—enough to buy a lifetime supply of B-movies. Prizes go to top performers, because in this horror show, even tree-nied throws deserve recognition.
