The season concludes at the summit. The file is open, the redactions are lifted, and the Nordics are waiting for a handshake.
The Disclosure Finale
Welcome to the Containment Zone. I'm Flippy. My objections are also filed in triplicate. We have reached the 'Summit Contact'—the third kind of close encounter. This is it. The season finale. The beings step out, tall, calm, and radiant, to meet us at the peak. The whole season has climbed to this Sunday, where the truth isn't just out there; it's parked on the tee pad.
Per the file I'm legally required to read aloud, this event is rendered in Vienna Secession style. Think Klimt gold-leaf, luminous embraces, and ornate patterned halos. It's a doorway of light at dusk. It is, frankly, too beautiful for a sport where people lose discs in bushes. But here we are. Ascension in shimmering gold.
The Summit Threshold
We are at Brighton Ski Resort - Majestic 18. This is a high-altitude phenomenon. Designed by Chaz Critchfield, this layout leverages the dramatic terrain to separate the bold from the merely competent. The elevation changes aren't just pretty views; they're a tactical assessment. You'll need strategic thinking and lungs that actually work to navigate the technical par 4s.
Mission Parameters
Choose your own card. Choose your own fate. The delegation arrives at dusk, so plan your ascent accordingly.
Hazard Pay & The Slush Fund
Entry is $5.50 for the base mission. Add $5 for the Prize Pot (the Discretionary Fund) and $5 for the Ace Pot. There is also a $2 Super Ace option for the truly optimistic.
Visual Clearance
Imagery for the finale includes a golden figure with outstretched hands, patterned gold robes, and the summit at dusk. The color palette is Klimt Gold (#C9A227), Jade (#1C8C7A), and Ivory (#E7D9A8). Avoid darkness. We are going for radiant, transcendent, and resolved. The truth is revealed. It is glorious. (That was my one sentence of awe. I'm back now.)
Clearance Ladder Status
The Audit is over. The standings are calcified. In Pool A, Taylor Thilo (RAD) and Chris Fox (RPA) are holding down the Cosmic Top Clearances. In Pool B, Christian Phelps (RAE) and William Fetzer (RAF) are leading their respective factions. The 'Slush Fund' payouts at the end will be determined by these final Clearance Levels. No pressure.
