Week 4 at River Bottoms saw the altitude series reach new heights as Colby Zimmerman soared to an impressive 7-under par, outpacing the field with a performance that towered 64 points above his rating. The crisp afternoon conditions set the stage for a showdown that saw several players elevate their game, with Eric Pearson and Houston Finch both climbing the leaderboard through consistent play and strategic shot selection.

The battle for pool supremacy intensified as Ernest Pennington and Josh Apple leveraged their course knowledge to card solid rounds, each exceeding their rating expectations by more than 30 points. Nicholas Jennings may have struggled with consistency, finishing at +9, but found redemption by claiming the CTP prize and $42.00 bounty. The MA2 division showcased remarkable depth, with Leif Smith's +5 standing out as particularly impressive against their rating.

As we approach the midpoint of our ten-week journey, the storylines are crystallizing. Zimmerman's dominant performance sends a clear message to the field, while the steady improvement of players like Britain Best suggests the second half of the season will feature intense competition across all divisions. With six weeks remaining, the altitude series continues to push players to new heights, leaving everyone wondering who will rise to the occasion in Week 5.
