Pristine Record, Dirty Secrets Your Misses Amuse the Auditor Bureau's Favorite Asset

Aspects refreshed Jun 30, 2026

The Audit Trail system was commissioned by the Bureau of Disc Golf Affairs during the initial Containment Zone establishment. Created by anonymous bureaucrats in the basement offices of Division 7, it was designed as a surveillance mechanism disguised as a loyalty program. Every league event generates an automatic entry - timestamps, scores, and behavioral data all get logged into your permanent record. The system was implemented under the guise of 'fair competition oversight' but serves primarily as a tool to identify unreliable agents who might leak information or skip mandatory events.

The Audit Trail manifests as a floating data stream visible only to Bureau officials and players with Level 4 clearance or higher. It automatically updates after each round with timestamps, location data, and performance metrics. The trail appears as ethereal numbers and dates that briefly materialize when a player achieves something significant or attends a high-profile event. Low-clearance players cannot see their own trail - they simply receive clearance level notifications, creating paranoia about what exactly is being recorded.

The Audit Trail determines a player's security clearance level, which directly impacts their access to restricted leagues, special events, and Slush Fund bonuses. It serves as the Bureau's primary tool for identifying players who might be planning to defect or go silent - those who miss events without proper filing get flagged for redaction. Conversely, players with pristine trails become trusted assets eligible for classified tournaments and inside information.
