Vortex Victim

Once an early morning jogger who followed the creek path daily, they were caught in the first supernatural vortex manifestation when upstream construction disrupted the ancient spawning grounds. The swirling water opened a dimensional rift that trapped them between worlds, unable to fully exist in either realm. Now they appear whenever similar vortex phenomena threaten to claim other victims, desperately trying to warn people away from the same fate that befell them.

Exists in a constant state of dimensional flux, with their form partially materialized and constantly shifting as supernatural water currents flow through and around their body. Their voice echoes with the sound of rushing water, making their warnings difficult to understand but impossible to ignore. They can only manifest near active vortex phenomena, becoming more solid and coherent as the supernatural water disturbances intensify. Their presence causes nearby water to swirl unnaturally, creating visible whirlpools even in shallow creek areas.

Serves as an early warning system for dangerous supernatural water conditions, appearing to frantically gesture players away from areas where vortex phenomena are building toward critical intensity. Their manifestations indicate that the boundary between dimensions is weakening and that other victims may soon be claimed by the same forces that trapped them.
