Week 4 · Fort Siege
The Baron's ledger is open, the Weber River toll is due, and only three contractors showed up to pay it last week. Welcome to the audit.
Fort Buenaventura is not a casual Tuesday round. It's championship ground — the 2021 Pro Worlds site where James Conrad launched the single most iconic throw in disc golf history on Hole 18. It's also, according to the treaty, the most valuable real estate in the series. The Baron collects a toll at every Weber River crossing, and the ledger does not do refunds.
This is the one mortal league in a supernatural city. No wizards, no faeries, no vampire courts. Just a charcoal suit, a red tie, and the terrifying calm of someone who hired lawyers to read the Accords before signing. The menace isn't magic — it's competence. It's paperwork. It's knowing that your score from Week 2 is still in the books.
The river crossings aren't just obstacles — they're toll gates. Every errant shot into the water is a fee paid to the Weber. The enforcers don't need to be visible for you to know they're watching. The fort palisade stands as a reminder: this ground was settled, claimed, and now it's the Baron's. Play accordingly.

Nine weeks, one course, zero mercy. The season arc reads like compliance training with better scenery: Terms Signed, Weber Toll, Ledger Open (this week), Fort Siege, Audit Check, Enforcer Watch, Settlement Found, Worlds Audit, Baron Collects. The final week is the settling of accounts — trophies handed out like notarized documents, books closed with a satisfying thud.
**Overspray Cartel** (RPA, RAH, RAD) operates in the margins — the fixers who navigate treacherous terrain where the ink bleeds and strict rules dissolve into the river. They're the ones scrambling out of the cottonwoods with mud on their shoes and a story for the scorecard.
**Red Ledger Block** (RAE, RAF, RAG) is the bureaucratic engine — order, precision, and the terrifying calm of a perfect audit. They treat the course as a balance sheet that must always settle. Their drives are on time. Their putts are on record.
One pool inks the deals. The other audits them. Both answer to the same red tie.
The books show Malachi Vazquez at the top of RPA with 50 points across 4 events — the model contractor. Chris Fox holds RAH with 49 points over 3 appearances, consistent and reliable. In RAE, Christopher Hamby leads with 43, but Nicholas Stosiek just climbed two spots on 41 points — someone's been balancing their books aggressively. Kent Moos tops RAD with 38 points, and in RAF, anthony Shirley holds the lead with 22. The audit is ongoing.
Show up any Tuesday between 7:00 AM and 5:20 PM, choose your card, pay the $5.50 toll, and throw. You don't need to be a fixer or an auditor to join — you just need to be willing to sign the terms and accept that the course will audit you back.
