Welcome back to the booth, where the soil is shifting and the Accords are open for signatures. It's Week 1 of Grave Roots, and we're kicking off the season with the Redwood Treaty.
The Redwood Treaty
The season begins with a pact. Players gather under the bridge to sign the Redwood Treaty, a solemn vow to respect the buried history of the land before the first drive is thrown. The ink isn't dry, and already the soil is vibrating beneath our feet. The course remembers what was paved over, and it demands a toll in plastic.
This is the first beat of the drum for the Grave Roots series. We're looking for the rhythm of the earth—or at least a rhythm that doesn't result in a triple bogey on hole 9. From the broadcast booth, it looks like a standard round, but the sponsors want you to know it's a seance with stakes.

The Mortal Crime Baron is handling the finances. Pay your tithe, take your receipt, and try not to get cursed by the Rating Drop. It's a simple economy for a complex ritual.
The Miracle Fund
The Ace Pot starts at a guaranteed $50.00, provided by ElevateUT Disc Golf (the league platform). They believe in the possibility of perfection, even if the statistics say you're just throwing plastic at a metal dream. The pot is locked at the minimum until contributions exceed it, but hey, a guarantee is a guarantee. Any top-up from the platform goes straight to your Bonus Account.

General Notes
All parking lots OB, all concrete out of bounds, all fences out of bounds. When a “path” is designated out of bounds, the metal edging piece separating PATH and FAIRWAY in the out of bounds line. In the case of any mandatory missed on the course your next shot is adjacent to the Mando.
