Welcome to the Containment Zone. I'm Flippy. My objections are also filed in triplicate. Week 8 is 'Grid Lock,' and frankly, the roster is looking a bit sparse for a government operation.
Mission Briefing
We are live at Brighton Ski Resort - Majestic 18 for Week 8 of the Disclosure series. The Grid has locked into position, and the course geometry is shifting for the final approach. This is mountain golf at 10,000 feet—VaporGrid synthwave aesthetics, wireframe peaks, and par 4s that will audit your bag with extreme prejudice.
The Sighting
FIRST LIGHT opens the Brighton trilogy at 10,000 feet: a Close Encounter of the First Kind, the sighting, lights over the peak you can't explain. Render as VaporGrid synthwave: a neon horizon, a digital sun behind the ridge, wireframe peaks, a glow that won't hold still over alpine dusk. Imagery: lights over the ridge, lake reflections, neon grid, mountain haze, a glow on the snow, pointing figures. Vocabulary: first light, the sighting, did you see that, lights on the peak, first kind. Tone: breathless wonder, the start of something; Flippy admits, grudgingly, that it's pretty. Part one of three.
The Terrain
Brighton Majestic 18 is no walk in the park. It's a hike. Designed by Chaz Critchfield, this layout features technical par 4s that demand precision off the tee and smart approaches. Elevation is the defender here. If you aren't calculating your disc's stability in thin air, you're already redacted.
Series Audit
We are deep in the season. In RPA, Britain Best (260 pts) and Chris Fox (259 pts) are separated by a single point. That is statistically uncomfortable. In RAE, Christian Phelps holds the lead at 248. The 'Slush Fund' is waiting for the final standings, so every stroke counts toward your clearance level.
