The valley holds its breath. The first loop is a question; the second loop is the tax. Welcome to Friday nights at Two Time Tetons.
The Winter Court Arrives
Welcome back to the booth, where the frost is on the chains and the metaphors are heavy. We are kicking off the Cold Iron league at Two Time Tetons. This is the Winter Court's domain: the mantle, the queen who does not blink, and the one metal her people cannot touch. You are Winter Knights now, or at least you will be after 18 holes in the dropping temperatures.
The format is simple enough for mortals to grasp: we play the 9-hole neighborhood course under the Oquirrh snowline twice. The first loop is the offer—a polite introduction to the cold. The second loop is the mantle settling in. That is when the iron gets heavy.
When the Gates Open
Choose your own card flex start means you pick your poison. Tee times run from 7:00 AM to 5:20 PM. Just don't be late; the Queen does not wait for tardy knights, and neither does the payout sheet.
The Tithe
To enter the court, you'll need to contribute to the cause. Base entry is $5.50. Optional buy-ins include a $5 prize pool, a $5 Ace Pot, and a $2 Super Ace for the truly ambitious.

The Legion & The Sovereigns
The field is divided by the weight you carry. The Iron Legion (RPA, RAH, RAD) carries the 'Burden' of the second nine, focusing on raw endurance. The Frost Sovereigns (RAE, RAF, RAG) have accepted the 'Offer' of the first nine, moving with sharp, deadly precision.
The Proving Ground
Tetons Disc Golf Course is a neighborhood 9-holer with professional MVP Black Hole Portal v2 baskets. Don't let the short length fool you; Hole 8 features a triple-mandatory gate that demands precision, and Hole 5's island green will test your nerves. The visual theme is frost on chain-link and a blue mantle—cold that thinks.
The Rules of the Court
- Vocabulary: Frost, Mantle, Iron, Snowline, Queen, Sleet, Teeth.
- Avoid: Christmas or holiday imagery. This is a court, not a season.
- Imagery: Iron nails in a pocket, breath in July, snowline stencils across the Oquirrhs.
