The Chaintrix began encoding predicted survival outcomes into VHS tapes before each league event, transforming the rental system into a prophetic apparatus where players unknowingly act out pre-recorded destinies.

VHS Prophecy exists as invisible magnetic patterns encoded in the VHS substrate - they become visible only during playback as tracking line distortions that form prophetic text. These patterns compel players toward their predicted outcomes, and once revealed through playback, they become immutable truth that cannot be changed, only witnessed.

VHS Prophecy reveals which players will be eliminated before they complete their throws - every league event becomes a cinematic reveal of what was already recorded, transforming disc golf into playback of predetermined fate.
