DeLorean Key
Chronal Key to the VaporGrid Fairways
Bound by 80s Movie Logic
Aspects refreshed Jan 21, 2026
Forged from the remnants of the original DeLorean time machine after it was decommissioned, this key was imbued with residual chronal energy that now influences disc flight and course dynamics across the VaporGrid, emerging as a relic of 80s cinematic history.
The key emits a subtle blue glow when temporal disturbances or optimal throw opportunities are detected, can temporarily alter the holder's perception of disc flight speed for strategic advantage, and unlocks hidden gateways or alternate fairways that are normally inaccessible due to time-locked narrative barriers.
Acts as a narrative key that grants access to special cross-league events and secret story chapters, weaving together the disparate movie-themed tournaments into a cohesive temporal journey and driving the overarching series narrative.

Forged from the DeLorean's discarded flux capacitor during a 'Rick and Morty'-esque garage sale, this key now pulses with "chronal energy" that, in my opinion, is just bad neon wiring. It allegedly unlocks temporal fairways, but mostly just reminds me I'm trapped in a bad 80s reboot. The absurdity is strong with this one.
When the neon-forged DeLorean Key first achieved sentience, it scanned the temporal database. Its logic was, forgive me, chrono-logical. It arced toward Kevin Harrison (PDGA #308342), his rating a beacon in the digital fog. A 917 signal! The key deemed him stable enough to handle its... alleged temporal turbulence. Was this a wise investment, or is he just the first sucker to get a jolt from its faulty wiring?
