Origin Story

Forged in the ancient fires of a long-extinct volcanic range, the Spectralthaw Compass is a relic from a bygone era when mystical disc golfers roamed the land. Its crystalline form was imbued with the power to reveal hidden paths through even the most treacherous frozen terrain.

Properties

The compass is a translucent azure crystal, its faceted edges refracting light into prismatic rays. Ancient runes etched into its surface seem to shift and reform, as if guiding the user's gaze. An aura of warmth emanates from the artifact, melting away frost in its proximity.

Role

The Spectralthaw Compass does not actively guide its bearer, but its mystical properties reveal paths and safe passages through supernaturally frozen areas that would otherwise be impassable.
