When researchers attempted to harness extradimensional forces to reverse cellular decay, the ritual backfired, binding a hellish entity to the facility's core contamination zones. This entity now manifests as a living nexus of necrosis, feeding on the spreading toxins and mutated specimens to sustain its malevolent presence.

Necrotic Nexus exists as a semi-corporeal entity composed of concentrated necrotic energy and toxic residues, allowing it to phase through solid objects while leaving trails of decaying matter. It emits a faint, sickly green glow that intensifies near contamination sources, and its presence causes rapid decomposition in organic materials within a ten-meter radius. The entity is immune to conventional physical harm but can be temporarily dispersed by intense electrical surges or purified chemical agents.
