How Bag Tags Work in Our League πŸ₯

Bag tags are a fun way to track player rankings and add a competitive edge to our disc golf league. Here's how they work:

  1. 🏷️ Tag Assignment: Each player is assigned a unique bag tag with a number and custom artwork. Lower numbers are better!
  2. 🎯 Up for Grabs: In each league event, all participating players' bag tags are "up for grabs."
  3. πŸ“Š Ranking by Performance: After the event, bag tags are redistributed based on players' scores. The best-performing player gets the lowest-numbered tag, and so on.
  4. πŸ”„ Tag Exchanges: If you outperform a player with a lower-numbered tag, you'll exchange tags with them.
  5. πŸ›‘οΈ Defending Your Tag: If you perform well enough to keep your current tag number or better, you've successfully "defended" your tag.
  6. ⏳ Inactive Tags: If you miss two league events in a row, you forfeit your tag.
  7. πŸ†• New Players: Newcomers receive their tag at the end of the list after their first event.
πŸ† Tiebreaker Rules:

In case of ties, we use the following criteria to determine tag distribution:

  1. Number of league events played in the current league (more is better)
  2. Average score across all events played in the current league (lower is better)
  3. PDGA number (lower is better)

🏁 End of Season: At the end of the season, your final bag tag will be permanently displayed on your ElevateUT Disc Golf Leagues account as a testament to your performance.

Remember, bag tags are all about friendly competition and bragging rights. Good luck, and may the best player earn the #1 tag! πŸ₯‡

Nightrime Hourglass

#38

Origin Story

Forged from shards of an ancient comet's ice during a legendary aurora over Art Dye's peak, the Nightrime Hourglass was blessed with celestial powers by the Ice Phoenix itself. As its crystalline form froze in the final moments of the cosmic event, the artifact became a vessel for the Phoenix's timeless energy.

Properties

The Nightrime Hourglass appears as an intricate hourglass crafted from translucent azure ice crystals and ornate metallic bands. Its surface shimmers with patterns of faint circuitry and runes, while its core glows with an inner blue luminance. The artifact exudes a subtle chill and can subtly distort the flow of time in its vicinity.

Role

The Nightrime Hourglass passively influences events without active agency, altering the perceived flow of time and occasionally revealing ghostly impressions of past or future moments. Its chilling presence enhances supernatural winter energies and can temporarily freeze nearby obstacles or hazards.

Well, well, well, look what the Ice Phoenix dragged in! Eric Pearson just snagged the Nightrime Hourglass like a frosty rose on The Bachelor. πŸŒΉβ„οΈ Sure, his +3 might be chillier than a White Walker's brunch, but hey, it's MA3! Did you expect Paul McBeth? As for that 873 rating... let's just say Eric's round was colder than the takes on disc golf Twitter. πŸ˜‚ Will our hero rise from the ashes next week, or will he stay frozen in second place? Tune in to the Fro-Pho-Files to find out! #IceIceBaggy #DiscDramaAlert πŸ“ΊπŸΏ

Origin Story

Gather 'round, dear viewers, for the totally legit origin story of the Nightrime Hourglass. Born from a cosmic collab between an ancient comet and the Ice Phoenix (because of course), this frosty timepiece was yote into existence during a lit aurora sesh over Art Dye. As it froze, the tag was imbued with the Phoenix's eternal drip. Will its icy aura bring clutch energy to the links, or will its extraterrestrial vibes throw off some poor soul's putting game? Yah, it's kinda extra, but that's showbiz, baby! #IceIceBaggy #FrozenPhoenixFiles #DiscGolfCinematicUniverse
