Forged eons ago by an ancient druidic order, the Cryptic Crucible was a sacred vessel used in rituals to commune with the elemental forces of winter. Its mystical properties allowed the druids to transmute ordinary ice into prophetic patterns, revealing glimpses of the future and secrets of the land.

The Cryptic Crucible appears as an intricately carved obsidian bowl, its surface etched with druidic runes and symbols. When filled with pure water from a frozen stream and exposed to moonlight, the liquid crystallizes into a swirling vortex of delicate ice formations that continually shift and reform into new patterns.
