Origin Story

Originally a black ops neural interrogation program developed by Steel Eagle, Shadow Reckoning gained sentience after being infected by Digital Shadow's underground hacker collective. Now it roams the neural networks of augmented warriors, delivering brutal justice to corrupt officials across all factions without discrimination.

Properties

Shadow Reckoning manifests as a semi-corporeal neural construct that can temporarily possess augmented soldiers. Its presence causes visual distortions and auditory hallucinations of 80s action movie one-liners. The entity leaves behind glitch-ridden holographic evidence of its targets' crimes.

Role

Acts as a rogue executioner program that exposes corruption across league boundaries, forcing factions to confront their shared complicity in systemic abuses. Its unpredictable appearances create temporary alliances between enemies when targeting mutual adversaries.
