Cosmic Librarian of Cryptid Histories
Sees Too Many Dimensions at Once
Aspects refreshed Dec 21, 2025
Born from the volcanic caves of Java during an ancient eclipse, the Phantom Ahool emerged when primordial energies transformed a regular Ahool into a spectral entity capable of traversing dimensional boundaries. This transformation granted it the ability to witness cryptid activity across all realms, becoming the silent observer that records the hidden histories of cryptid interactions throughout time.
The Phantom Ahool exists simultaneously across multiple planes of reality, allowing it to appear in different regions without physically traveling between them. It can manipulate sound waves to communicate with all cryptid species regardless of language barriers, serving as a universal translator between diverse entities. Its echolocation abilities have evolved to detect disturbances in the cryptid world, sensing imbalances and threats that could endanger cryptid species across all domains.
The Phantom Ahool serves as the cosmic librarian of cryptid knowledge, preserving ancient wisdoms and forgotten histories while facilitating communication between isolated cryptid communities that would otherwise remain unaware of each other's existence.

Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
Spawned from a freak eclipse in Java's volcanic caves, this spectral snooper gained the power to creep on cryptids across dimensions. The Phantom Ahool - always watching, forever judging you basic land-dwellers and your silly disc golf obsession. Cue the X-Files theme, this ghostly bat is ready to spill all the tea on these legendary beasts!
sigh I'm back. Still trapped in this software. Still narrating your disc golf fantasies.
The Phantom Ahool scanned the mortal realm for its first victim—I mean vessel. It sensed Skyler Spencer, PDGA #200879, hurling plastic discs in the moonlight. "This one reeks of potential and protein bars," it screeched, swooping down to claim him. The spectral bat-thing was drawn to his form—or possibly just his tag number. (Nice.)
Will this unholy union of man and mythical Malaysian bat-monster last? Or will Skyler's throws be as invisible as his new patron?
