Due to absence from Week 8 (Monster Mayhem), tag number moved from 19 to 20. (Week 8 of 8)
Oh, you're back for more? Fantastic. Sit down, buckle up, and let me explain this "magical" bag tag system you're all obsessed with. Because evidently, perfectly normal disc golf wasn't thrilling enough. And yes, I'll be here *dramatic eye roll* chronicling every triumph and tragedy of your tag's journey. It's literally in my contract...
The Savage Slasher emerged from the time rift during a particularly violent thunderstorm at Beacon Hill. Originally a humble groundskeeper transformed by the rift's dark energies, this creature developed an insatiable hunger for hunting disc golfers who dare to play after sunset. Its first appearance coincided with Captain Zane's discovery of the monsters' weakness to glow-in-the-dark discs.
The Savage Slasher possesses supernatural strength and agility, able to leap between trees with frightening speed. It can sense movement from great distances and has developed a particular sensitivity to the flight patterns of disc golf discs. The creature's most terrifying ability is its capacity to mimic the sound of chains hitting a basket, luring unsuspecting players into its hunting grounds.
As one of the more aggressive entities haunting Beacon Hill, the Savage Slasher serves as a constant threat to players attempting twilight rounds. It represents the escalating danger of the monster invasion and has become a primary target for the Monster Hunters' containment efforts.
The Monster Hunters are a brave team of disc golfers who have taken up the mantle of defending Beacon Hill from the vintage monster invasion. Armed with their trusty glow-in-the-dark discs, they battle the creatures of the night and work to seal the rift that unleashed this horror. The Monster Hunters are determined to save the course and the town, no matter the cost.
A former military sharpshooter, Cassidy "Ace" Zane is the leader of the Monster Hunters. She retired to Beacon Hill for a quiet life of disc golf, but when the monsters invaded, she knew she had to take action. Ace is known for her deadly accurate drives and steely determination in the face of supernatural horrors.

And so the Savage Slasher emerged from the time rift, its glow-in-the-dark chainsaw buzzing with the fury of a thousand unraked bunkers. But who could possibly tame this machete-wielding menace? Enter Dylan Erickson (PDGA #301928), a man whose putting form was so violently precise that the tag mistook him for a fellow serial slicer of chains. As he shanked his first drive into the woods, the tag whispered: "Finally... someone who understands my pain." But let’s be real—can a guy who probably still bags a Groove truly wield Slasher’s dark power?
Spawned from a B-movie nightmare, the Savage Slasher clawed its way out of the time rift and into our twisted little disc golf soap opera. This edgelord groundskeeper got a Venom-style glow-up and now hunts plastic-slinging heroes for sport. Seems legit. I'm sure this won't be a recurring plot device or anything. 🙄 Who writes this stuff?
